Technical Information: Nanotechnology
We are working on the practical application of nanotechnology through joint research between industry, academia, and government.
Harima Science Park City is a cutting-edge technology hub that houses the world's largest synchrotron radiation facility, SPring-8. The Newsbar (Advanced Industrial Science and Technology Research Institute) within the facility is a research facility that utilizes the electron beams supplied by SPring-8 for industrial applications. Fuji Pretium participates in research projects at this Newsbar and collaborates with the University of Hyogo to develop synchrotron radiation application technologies. We are advancing ultra-fine processing technologies using synchrotron radiation. This technology allows for the construction of three-dimensional structures at the nano (one billionth of a meter) level, enabling fine processing that was previously considered impossible.
